Blini with Sour Cream and Jam

Ingredients:

 

• 1 cup of all-purpose flour

• 1 cup of milk

• 2 eggs

• 1 tablespoon sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• butter or frying oil

• sour cream

• fruit jam (strawberry or raspberry)

 

Instructions:

 

• Whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt in a mixing dish. Whisk the batter until it is smooth and free of lumps. Allow it to rest for 15-20 minutes.

• Heat a nonstick skillet or frying pan over medium heat and coat the surface with a tiny quantity of butter or oil.

• Ladle a ladle of batter onto a heated pan and spread it out to produce a thin pancake. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges begin to rise and the bottom turns golden brown.

• Cook for another minute on the opposite side after flipping the blini. Remove from the pan and continue with the remaining batter.

• Serve the blini hot, topped with sour cream and a teaspoon of fruit jam. Roll or fold the blini into quarters and serve!

• pinch salt

• butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

 

• Combine the cottage cheese, eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla essence, and salt in a mixing dish. Mix until all of the ingredients are uniformly distributed.

• Heat a nonstick skillet or frying pan over medium heat and coat the surface with a tiny quantity of butter or oil.

• For each pancake, dollop roughly 2 teaspoons of the cottage cheese mixture onto the heated pan. Slightly flatten with the back of a spoon to make a circular shape.

• Cook the syrniki for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown is cooked through.

• Remove the syrniki from the pan and serve warm with a dollop of sour cream, a drizzle of honey, or your favorite fruit jam.
