1.       California Roll Sushi:

Instructions:

 

1. Cook the sushi rice according to package directions and set aside to cool.

2. Lay a bamboo sushi mat on a level surface and top with a sheet of nori.

3. Wet your hands to prevent the rice from sticking and spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving about 1 inch uncovered.

4. On top of the rice, arrange the cucumber strips, avocado slices, and shredded crab pieces.

5. Roll the sushi firmly using the bamboo mat, using light pressure.

6. Using a sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.

7. Continue with the remaining nori, rice, and contents.

8. Serve the California roll sushi with soy sauce dipping.
